During Climate Week NYC, Hope House hosted a vital discussion on Indigenous and community-led nature-based solutions. The event showcased how traditional knowledge and innovative frameworks are reshaping climate action and climate finance. Highlighting the Kawsay Ñampi Climate Project from the Sarayaku Indigenous Peoples of the Ecuadorian Amazon and insights from COICA, the panel amplified Indigenous voices and community leadership in climate solutions. Discussions also introduced the groundbreaking Climate Justice Standard, emphasizing equity and the certification of community-driven projects.
