Earth Disco x Climate Week NYC 2023

Time for Better collaborated with PUBLIC Hotel to curate an unforgettable Earth Disco event, transcending traditional climate discourse. With over 500 attendees, the Earth Disco became a vibrant convergence of activists, scientists, business innovators, and policy leaders.

Challenge:

The urgency of climate action often lacks an engaging and inclusive platform. Traditional conference events can be siloed and sterile, hindering collaboration and joy.

Solution:

Our solution was the Earth Disco—an innovative event blending celebration with purpose. By fusing the universal language of dance with climate advocacy, we created a unique space for climate leaders, including policy experts, indigenous wisdom keepers, youth champions, executives, and artists. The event aimed to foster a deep sense of connection and community.

Outcome:

The Earth Disco, featuring talents like Hila the Earth and Eric Terena, transformed the conversation around climate change. Attendees connected with the climate movement through music, dance, and shared experiences. The event’s success extended beyond the dance floor, as we launched BETTER Earth, Time for Better’s philanthropic arm – providing climate storytelling grants to Kevin J. Patel and Priscila Tapajowara.
